Preference and Popularity of Individual Sport Activities among Older School - Age and Teenage Children in Kolín

This diploma thesis deals with the topic called "Preferences and Popularity of Individual Sports Branches by Children of Older School and Junior Age in Kolín". In the theoretic part I focused on definition of the main terms which occur in the name of the thesis as preferences, popularity, sports branch, children of older school age and children of junior age. Discovered data were processed on the basis of quantitative method via questionnaire survey and the evaluation was carried out via spreadsheet and statistical methods. The performed survey answered the stated survey questions from which emerged that children of older school age are more interested in performance sport. The most often performance sports done are football and dancing by both groups of the respondents. Further, girls would not change performance sport for their favourite one. Junior age children would like to do their favourite sport at performance level. Popularity of physical education does not vary by children doing sport for leisure or performance. Sports massage as one of the posssible therapy methods used in the various sports sectors

The bachelor thesis deals with using of sports massage as part of regeneration after, before and during sports workout. The sports massage is divided generally into a pre - sports workout, (for the reason of a group's muscles warming up used specifically for the special sports sector (injury prevention), immediately after sports load ( due to an accumulated lactic acid and other waste chemicals wash out) and within 24 - hours duration in the frame of body regeneration. The aim of the thesis is to compare and map the usage of sports massage in various sports sectors. The icey hockey, football, handball, cheerleading, athletics and floorball are determined as sports sectors for regeneration sports club level comparison. The research is based by an author on 5 - predefined hypothesis, which, used by the methods of questionnare research (data are processed by members of icey hockey, football, handball, cheerleading, athletics and floorball clubs) and via testing on the determined and comparable sample in the frame of sport gymnastics, the author verifies in the wrapping up. The research methods used are comparisons and data analysis based on a questionnaire and interview survey. Use of Nutritional Supplements in Individual Sport Sectors

The aim of the diploma thesis was to determine, which nutritional supplements are selected by athletes of strength and endurance sports branches and what is the reason for their option. The theoretical part characterizes the 8 selected sports sector from point of view of the sport performance structure. There is also mentioned the issue of nutritional supplements, their division, legislation or general recommendations for the use in sport. The last chapter deals with the requirements for the use of nutritional supplements in different periods with respect to the branche of sport. Research part has specifically determined the nutritional strategy for athletes in the field of mentioned food supplements at strength and endurance-oriented sports disciplines by using the questionnaire. The research is supported by an interview with an expert nutritionist and sports through collaboration with the staff of the Centre for Sports of the Ministry of Interior
